Macleay Movies by Moonlight
I was fortunate to be asked to photograph a fun and free event on Macleay Island in the Spring of 2023. A series of outdoor movie events were held on Macleay Island. On the event I attended (9 September 2023) the afternoon was setup for families with loads of events for kids – face painting, dancing, crafts, belly-dancing workshop, and music. A children’s movie was shown early in the evening (Encato).
In the evening there were food stalls and music from Elly Hart and John Jass’s Rustlers Bush Band. The movie for the adults was The Lost City.
